President Trump’s tour of the Arabian Peninsula seemed to highlight a new order of Middle East actors - Persian Gulf over the Levant and commercial over military.
However, it also portrayed the US as the only Global Power to be both interested and invested in the region, with China and Russia otherwise occupied with their own policies and priorities.
